Couriers To India
Orange Infomedia is a fully integrated IT and Media solution provider with expertise in Design, Web and Print. Worked hard to establish a structure, recruit the right people & ensure that the business runs smoothly/profitably, this is one project I enjoyed setting up in an environment that is competitive and challenging. We now have a team of 4, actively working to grow our books and have meaningful projects to deliver.
Couriers To India, as the name suggests, is a logistic venture established to deliver packages to Indian shores using reputed companies - DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT. From negotiating freight contracts with suppliers, establishing a robust accounting and booking system to having trained and responsible staff, this is a venture where time is money and speed is the game. Approx. 250% growth over last 2 years and counting, this venture is sure to pay off in the long run.
Holiday Couriers provides After Hours logistic and freight solutions to Hospitals, Emergency Services and FMCGs across Australia. Was instrumental in devising operational strategies for freight of time-sensitive items. This business is all about being on time and within budget.

This assignment was way out of my comfort zone but I am glad to have taken this on.
It helped me develop key skills in litigation procedures, system incident management, Microsoft Access and Data Analysis.
From responsive Excel based management reporting to customised solutions for end users, this job had me thinking and implementing ideas to make daily tasks easier, leaner and cost effective.
2010 - 2012
This is where I was groomed in the true GE way.
With over 140 processed under my belt, I had a team of 12 members onshore and 12 offshore. I must say, I had the best team ever!
Working across multiple products, processes and timezones, this job threw challenges at me that I absolutely loved.
Tight delivery times, time critical processes and tasks that just had to be done, I learnt things that no university or management book would ever teach me. Today, I am more responsive, passionate about change and self aware of my shortfalls.
2007 - 2010
The start of my corporate journey - This is where imagination at work breeds.
From answering calls to working the processes with tight SLA, I quickly adapted and learned that performance and rewards are the linked very close. I was not afraid of failure and the looked to improve the processes I worked. This helped me develop confidence, make better decisions and look for new opportunities to improve.
Building lasting relationships with trustees and administrators, liaising with the banks, having fun with an awesome team and having regular cook offs - these were some of the essential ingredients that helped grow.
